ناشد الدكتور حاتم الجبلي وزير الصحة المصري المواطنين المصريين تأجيل رحلات الحج والعمرة إن أمكن خوفا من انتشار أنفلونزا الخنازير، مؤكدا أنه سيتم تطبيق الحجر الصحي على جميع الحجاج العائدين إذا ظهر المرض في السعودية. Appealed to Dr. Hatem el-Gabali, Minister of Health of Egypt Egyptian citizens to postpone the Hajj and Umrah trips, if possible, fearing the spread of swine flu, stressing that it will apply to all quarantine pilgrims returning if the disease in Saudi Arabia.
وقال الجبلي في حديث لصحيفة الأخبار الجمعة "لدينا قلق من الحج والعمرة وأي تجمعات، وأطالب بأن يتروي المواطنون في اتخاذ قرار العمرة وتأجيله إن أمكن فنحن لدينا مشكلة زمنية." The mountain told the News Friday, "We have a concern about the Hajj and Umrah any gatherings, and I call that wise citizens in the decision to postpone the pilgrimage, if possible, we have the problem of time."
وأوضح أن موسم العمرة سيكون في فترات زمنية خطيرة لان المرض قد يهدأ فترة ثم يعود بضراوة وشراسة في الخريف، حيث سيبدأ من 20 يونيو/حزيران حتى بداية أكتوبر/تشرين الأول، ثم سيتم استئنافه من أول نوفمبر/تشرين الثاني حتى نصف يناير/كانون الثاني. The Umrah season would be in serious periods of time because the disease may rest period and then back fiercely and viciousness in the autumn, which will start from June 20 until the beginning of October, then the appeal will be the first of November until half of January .
وأشار إلى أن بداية الخريف ستكون مع موسم العمرة المكثف العشر الأواخر من شهر رمضان، موضحا أن حوالي نصف مليون مصري سيسافرون ويعودون لينتشروا في كل أنحاء مصر، وإذا كانوا مصابين بأي فيروسات من السعودية فمن الممكن أن يتسببوا في نقل العدوى لحوالي خمسة ملايين مواطن خلال أقل من أسبوع. He pointed out that the beginning of the autumn pilgrimage season, will be intensified with the last ten days of Ramadan, adding that about half a million Egyptian travel and re-deployed in all parts of Egypt, if they are infected with any viruses from Saudi Arabia, it is possible to cause the transmission of approximately five million people in less than a week.
وأوضح أن هناك خطة قومية تم إعدادها مبكرا لمواجهة أي وباء محتمل، وهناك تحرك سريع ورقابة مكثفة وتنسيق في الأداء ومواجهة سريعة وحاسمة لحالات الاشتباه، مشيرا إلى أن وزارة الصحة لديها خبرة كبيرة في الأوبئة عامة. He added that there was a national plan was prepared early to counter any possible pandemic, and there is rapid movement and control and coordination of the extensive performance and respond rapidly and decisively to cases of suspicion, pointing out that the Ministry of Health has considerable experience in epidemiology in general.
