Egypt: Official Involved In Smuggling birds & animals to Israel

The H5N1 in birds in Ein Gedi, Israel, reported here becomes very interesting. Here's a map of the area:


Doing some research on the area, I found this:

The weather conditions also make Ein Gedi a meeting and mating ground for a wide range of mammals, many of which make their way from the arid desert region nearby in the hopes of finding food and shelter. Birds flock to Ein Gedi for the same reasons, with more than 400 species of birds in situ during migration seasons, making Ein Gedi a birdwatcher's paradise.

An informed source told within the Ministry of Environment stated that it was sealing the office of Dr. At least Mr., file official ministry's bird flu, after his involvement and his brother in a network of smuggling of birds and animals to Israel, after his arrest as he uses one of the cars belonging to the Ministry of Environment and plates Presidency of the Council of Ministers.

The source added that the minister took the decision to stop At least Mr. working, and the closure of all offices of official reserves in the ministry, pending the examination by the prosecution, the police bodies and the environment in Sharm El-Sheikh in coordination with the Department of Protected Areas and the Security Directorate of South Sinai has been able to adjust the car of the Ministry of the environment, during attempt to sell 102 of the snakes and rare birds to the center "Danesh-House" who specializes in the sale of birds and wildlife.

And his office declined to Maged George comment on the case or disclose any information about the official involved in the smuggling network of wildlife, arguing that the case is now in the hands of the judiciary, may not speak it.
