Health Dhi Qar to take strict precautions against bird flu pandemic

Nasiriyah (Iba) .. Department of Health initiated the Dhi Qar to take strict precautions to avoid the appearance of pandemic influenza infection.

The Director General of Health Department of Dhi Qar, Dr. Hadi Badr Riahi there are multiple actions taken by the Health Department of Dhi Qar to avoid the registration of any cases of bird flu epidemic across the cities of the province, including the creation of corridors for this disease and provide the necessary treatment to him and the allocation of medical personnel specialized in all hospitals of the province.

Riahi and confirmed that he had been issued orders by the Ministry of Health to prevent the import eggs and poultry meat from countries which show the incidence of influenza epidemics.
