Patients with suspected infected with bird flu virus are treated at the department of Mataram, West Nusa Tenggara, continues to grow.


Two patients with suspected bird flu had the initials of each 5-month-old DS and SK (10) referred to the department of Mataram. While the other a patient treated in isolation space Praya Hospital, Central Lombok.

All three patients had high fever, cough, and runny nose. Temperatures average Bandan they reach 38 to 39 degrees celsius.

Parents DS, Fatima, said his son had physical contact with chickens that died suddenly around his house, three days ago. DS evening direct high fever and cough. DS body temperature reached 39.2 degrees celsius.

Officers Semayan Health Center, Zulhadi, said the birds that died suddenly had been tested positive for bird flu virus. Three of these patients came from the same village. Namely Semayan Village, Central Lombok, which has now become endemic spread of bird flu virus.
