Kotabaru South Kalimantan (Kalimantan-news) - DVO Kotabaru, South Kalimantan wary of transmission of bird flu or avian influenza after dozens of chickens died suddenly in the area.

Head of Department of Animal Husbandry in Kotabaru Kotabaru Sabri Madani, Tuesday, admitted, has received reports of dozens of village chickens died suddenly in the village of Sungup Right, the Mediterranean island.

"After the location, it turns out the team has not found a chicken carcass to be examined again the cause of death," he said.

The team also had difficulty checking the chicken is still alive because some cattle finished cut.

Based on information from local residents, he said before a lot of their own chickens died suddenly, a merchant there who throw chicken chicken carcasses in the river around the local neighborhood.

he said.

He said residents increasingly worried because some time ago had found suspected bird flu in the district of the Land of the Sea [Kabupaten Tanah Laut].
