Indonesia Commentary: Tamiflu Resistance?

Regarding MV (24), out of Bangkulu Regency, the latest confirmed case, the hospital is quoted below

Hospital party has also sent 86 specimens of one patient after the death of the bird flu some time ago.

"We've sent 72 specimens from the surrounding residential area 4 patients previously suspected. While 14 specimens were from blood samples of suspected RUSD employees often interact with MV victims who died some time ago. Insha Allah sort them out within this week," continued Yusdi.

In the WHO Update, it is stated that

She developed fever on 23 February 2012 and was hospitalized on the following day. She had breathing difficulty, her condition deteriorated and she died on 1 March 2012.

We know she was employed at the very hospital she was admitted to.
We are to believe that the onset of the virus was the 23rd, and she was admitted on the 24th, and could not be helped. Was deceased a week later.

Why send out 72 specimens from the area where she resided?
We have four other suspected cases in the same area. We also have this, posted here:

Apart from carrying out spraying to the resident's house of the team also distributed Glutacap to the resident that needed to be sprayed personally by the resident if being felt necessary. Now the resident who carried out direct contact to the body MV, like bathed could take disinfectant in the community health centre of Ratu Agung

They have taken blood from 14 employees of the hospital that were in contact with the victim.

This was not a private hospital. They had stock of Tamiflu. We have posted here that she had no response to drugs that have been granted, and was declining very rapidly:

dr. Abdul Razak MH Pulo:

As reported by People's Daily Bengkulu, (6/03) of a patient, MP, women aged 24 years died from bird flu infected. Yes, we're the first one to suspect the patient suspect bird flu.

We began to suspect the patient's condition is declining very rapidly, within hours and also no response to drugs that have been granted. Patients experiencing severe shortness, high fever, and coughing. The results again showed a thoracic X-ray picture of the extensive consolidation in the left lung and an overview perselubungan homogeneous in basal right lung.

dr. Edi Hidayat, and dr.Abdul Razak MH Pulo were the first to examine MF. When Dr Pulo wrote the above article, he stated that there was no history with poultry contact....but then the story changed, as it usually does.

Initially we were hesitant because of the interviews with patients and their families do not get a history of contact with poultry.

I have got to wonder what went wrong. Or, if there was indeed anything that they could have done to save her.
I also have to wonder if it is the 2.3.2.1
