Nepal-Bird-flu affected chicken destroyed

	RSS Published on 2012-03-25 19:30:06 LALITPUR, March 25: The chicken in a farm of Saibu VDC in the district contracted bird flu again. As many as 2,574 chickens in the poultry farming owned by Kamal Ghimire of Saibu-5 were killed and 450-kg feed destroyed after the bird flu stalked farming. Dr Mugal Shah, Chief at District Livestock Office, Lalitpur said as the chickens were found bird flu infested, they were culled and the feed destroyed. The Office has mobilized technical teams in the district declaring it - bird flu affected area, he said. Earlier, the Saibu VDC had witnessed the bird flu four days ago.
